Mansfield Beauty Schools has a history dating back to 1909 at 125 Tremont Street, Boston. The founder, Dr. Katherine Mansfield, was a practiciing chiropodist who on a pleasure trip to Paris, France, had been exposed to innovations in hairdressing. Upon her return, she started giving demonstrations and lectures. Thus, the humble beginnings of Mansfield Beauty Schools.

We have as our principle objective the training of an entry level position and the preparation for state licensure in the field of Cosmetology and Manicure.

We prepare and expect our students to enter upon, progress in, and make a contribution to the Cosmetology and Manicure industry.

In order to maintain our position in the forefeont of cosmetology education, our policy remains one of involvement and participation in the Massachusetts Association of Cosmetology Schools, the American Association of Cosmetology Schools, the Massachusetts Financial Aid Association, and the National Direct Student Loan Coalition.
